Kellie Pickler might not have won "American Idol," but she's winning the hearts of people around the globe as she lends her singing voice to charity. MTV Act has written about her involvement in the USO tour before, and now we see she also sings at children's hospitals.Kellie recently performed at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, and afterward CHOA Tweeted about how glad they were to have the singer there. Kellie responded to their Tweet by saying:

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta takes care of kids in emergencies, helps them go through chemo, and everything in-between. If you live close by, they're always looking for volunteers to help make the days better for the young patients. If you don't live nearby, but like what Kellie's doing, there are other ways you can help kids in hospitals. You might want to volunteer at your local clinic, or you can give cards and gifts to the kids there. Being hospitalized can be a really scary experience, especially for a young person, so things like that will def be appreciated!

Visiting a hospital might be especially personal to Kellie since a friend of hers was diagnosed with breast cancer. In order to show her friend support, Kellie shaved her own head. While we see her hair's grown back here, her dedication to people with serious illness doesn't seem to have waned.

And it sounds like Kellie needs to return and sing again! Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Tweeted back to her:
