"Hunger Games: Catching Fire" comes out next month (November 22 can't come any closer!), but a world without food is all too real for millions of people. Since today is World Food Day, here are five ways you can help people battling a real life hunger game.
+ Share The Truth On Hunger
The World Food Programme has some alarming facts and infographics about hunger, like the fact that almost 850 million people don't get enough to eat. One in four kids in the world is stunted because of lack of food, and hunger kills more people than AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria combined. You can Tweet facts like these with the hashtag #wfd2013 to spread awareness.

+ Burn Calories To Fight Hunger
Do you like running, biking, or going for a walk? You can get the app Charity Miles and earn money for orgs like Feeding America. The app tracks your distance while you move and donates to the charity of your choice: 10 cents for a mile by bike and 25 cents for a mile by walking or running.
+ Take a Quiz and You'll Provide a Meal
You can test your Hunger IQ in a short, multiple choice quiz that asks questions like, "Which region has the greatest number of hungry people?" Doesn't matter how many right or wrong answers you give -- if you complete the quiz, a meal will be donated to a child. The same thing happens if you take the Hunger Emergencies quiz.
+ Make Something Real Good
If you like to cook, get creative and check out some sustainable recipes! There are all different kinds of dishes and it won't take a lot of your time. We promise.
+ Volunteer
World Food Day has teamed up with a bunch of cool orgs, so why don't ya check them out and maybe volunteer for one or more of them? This can help make sure "The Hunger Games" stays fiction. Because NO ONE wants to battle Katniss in the Cornucopia, right?!
