Since "Insidious," director James Wan has stepped up his game and consistently scared the crap out of us. There was that Darth Maul demon from the surprise 2010 hit. We now expect a phantom clap every time we go down into the basement, thanks to the "Conjuring" trailer. And then there's this new thing, the trailer for "Insidious: Chapter 2."

The trailer for the sequel (via iTunes) shows us that things are picking up right where they left off with the Lambert family, whose son made friends with Iron Man in the mean time.

The preview itself has everything you've come to expect from the series: long takes that pay off with scares, creepy old ladies in long dresses, and Patrick Wilson. (What, we like the guy, ok?)
