The Chime for Change concert is gonna bring some serious change for women's rights -- $4.3 million in tix sales! But the fight for full equality for women is far from over, and "Star Trek Into Darkness" actress Zoe Saldana shared her CFC project on Twitter.
Zoe, who was also part of the concert, Tweeted:
RT @chimeforchange: Give 340 girls in #India life skills training. Donate to @zoesaldana's project: http://t.co/VKqGutmGHJ #chime

Chime for Change concentrates on the areas of education, health and justice in the world of women's rights, and you can narrow down those subjects more by donating to specific projects. Giving girls an education, like Zoe is doing, helps all three categories Chime for Change is concerned about. When a girl is educated, she's more likely to be independent and take care of herself, and keep others from bringing her down. She knows more about her health and is able to get better access to health-related services.
But you can check out other projects as well! You can search in categories like gender discrimination, human trafficking, reproductive rights and more. A number of celebs, like Zoe, are backing specific projects as well. Madonna, it seems, must be a big Malala fan, because she's chosen to back a project all about girls' education in Pakistan. Beyoncé wants to make sure girls can be able to lead in Haiti ('cause, you know, girls run the world). John Legend, showing Girl Power is def in the interest of men, too, is backing a project for girls' education in Kenya. There's a lot to be done, and you can join Zoe and these other big names to make it happen!
