I don't have a problem with Rick Ross, but I do have a problem with his beard his lyrics.

In his new song, "You Don't Even Know," Rick raps about drugging a woman, then sexing her up without her permish: "Put molly all in her champagne, she ain't even know it. I took her home and I enjoyed that, she ain't even know it." The lyrics got a lot of people riled up, culminating in a Change.org petition, demanding responsibility from Ross as well as various broadcast and recording companies.

What did Rozay have to say 'bout all of this? "I want to make sure this is clear...woman is the most precious gift known to man. You understand. There was a misunderstanding with a lyric or a misinterpretation. The term rape wasn't used. I would never use the term rape in my records. Hip hop don't condone that, the streets don't condone that. Nobody condones that. I just want to reach out to all the queens on my timeline, the beautiful ladies that were reaching out to me...we don't condone rape and I'm not with that."

But still, what's up with the lyrics? Why even write them? Hopefully God will forgive you, Ricky. esp on this Good Friday! Whether you love Rick Ross or not, we got some tips on how to avoid any Rick Ross regrets the next time you go out:

+ Mix It!

Mix your own drink, or watch closely as someone else mixes it for you. And avoid that punch bowl! Open containers at public parties are always risky.

+ Hold It!

Keep your eyes on the champagne! Leaving a drink unattended increases the risk of having something slipped into it when you "ain't even know it." According to the U.S. Department of Justice, 73% of sexual assaults are committed by a non-stranger, so hold onto your cup even when drinking with friends...if anything, to keep them from stealing a sip!

+ Pace It!

Drinking slowly makes it easier to tell if anything's off...and prevents all general dance floor embarrassment and humiliating next day Instagram discoveries.  "I did WHUT last night?!" is pretty much the worst question a person can ask...well, that and, "Do I look fat in this?!"

+ Call It!

If you see something off or someone being taken advantage of, call it! Don't let your friends go home with strangers, especially while they're intoxicated.
