Demi Lovato's fourth album might not have a title yet, but her first single is still giving her fans some major heart palpitations.
"Heart Attack," features an electropop take on the traditional bubblegum-pop love songs. We know the video isn't due out until April, so we'll console ourselves by listening to the song on repeat 'til then. Or watch the lyric video 24-7:

Now, don't freak out Lovatics; we promise we're not trying to kill Demi. That said, we think the singer-songwriter would totally have a heart attack if she knew these four facts:
+ The Need For Clean Toilets. Seriously.
Next time you grab your phone send Emojis, consider this: according to the UN, more people in the world have cell phones than have access to clean toilets. Can you imagine not having access to clean water? Because thinking about all the people who don't have that luxury gives us major heart pains. For more information, make sure you're keeping up with the charity: water team.
+ Bunnies Are In Danger
Easter is coming up, which means millions of Americans have bunnies on the brain. But did you know that they are the third most euthanized animals in shelters? That's right, according to the Best Friends Animal Society, those little Thumpers fall just behind cats and dogs, as animals most likely to be put down. If that doesn't make your heart race, you're probably better off buying a chocolate bunny this holiday. If your heart is breaking, stop by a local shelter to save a furry friend!
+ One Billion Too Many
One out of every three women, one billion women worldwide, will be assaulted in her lifetime. It's just not OK that women around the world have to live in constant fear of physical and emotional abuse. After your blood pressure returns to normal, vow to fight the good fight and find out what One Billion Rising is up to next.
+ Dreams Are Being Deferred
As a Latina, we think Demi would be outraged at the thought that "each year, approximately 65,000 students graduate from high school in the US just to have their dreams of higher education deferred." This immigration issue is keeping many young Americans from entering the workforce or attending college, and that's not a good look. If your blood is boiling at the thought, make sure you pay attention to The DREAM Act. Make sure you raise your voice to let our government know that undocumented high school graduates should be afforded those rights.
So, Lovatics, what do you think? Did we get your heart racing with all these facts?! If the answer is YES, check out the action widgets below to get involved.
