It's time to release your inner Brit, put on a red nose and get charitable for the UK's Red Nose Day. Not too keen on the idea? How about if I told you that One Direction has already put their red noses on and they're ready to get funny for charity money?

If you're scratching your head about why a bunch of super cute guys would willingly put red noses on themselves, here's the lowdown: Red Nose Day is a UK fundraising event backed by the charity Comic Relief, and helps people in need in Africa and the United Kingdom. It's a big deal overseas -- more than £600 million have been raised since its start in 1988! -- and this year's Red Nose Day happens on March 15. The boys have recorded the official Red Nose Day charity single with their remake of Blondie's "One Way or Another" and the song can now be preordered on iTunes!

Britain's top stars like to get involved, so it's only logical that the people behind Comic Relief called in 1D to turn this Brit Bash For Charity into an international event with One Direction's global fans taking part. The boys have also visited projects in Ghana that have been aided by Red Nose Day funds, so they know why this day is so important.
