All the hullabaloo about J.J. Abrams directing "Star Wars" has somewhat forced another important piece of information out of pop culture's collective mind, but it's still very important to remember.

J.J. Abrams is directing another "Star Trek" movie, and he did a kick-ass job with that first one!

Now that we have that out of our system, let's take a moment to enjoy a new featurette about "Star Trek Into Darkness," in which the stars give some canned sound bites about the film being perfect for 3-D and how relentless the movie is.

But the real joy is hearing directly from the tight-lipped director himself about what he wanted to do this time around.
