FROM MTV NEWS
It's never too early for a little spring break, and this Thursday, you're going to go on one hell of a trip. That's when MTV News will be exclusively premiering the trailer for "Spring Breakers," the festival hit staring Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, and James Franco.
This Thursday at 7 a.m. ET, the very first trailer for "Spring Breakers" will debut exclusively on MTV.com. Later that day, the preview will make its way to primetime for its broadcast premiere on MTV.
See what the cast had to say about the movie after the jump!
"It is nerve-racking because we've stripped ourselves down and [the movie] is so raw and bare," Hudgens said. "And the fact that [early screenings were] received so well is such an accomplishment, it's an honor. It gets a physical reaction. You watch the movie and your stomach is literally in knots. It's just amazing that you can push an audience so far to feel something."
Gomez filming "Spring Breakers" immediately after wrapping her Disney show, "The Wizards of Waverly Place," so there was a bit of an adjustment. "After my show ended, going from that to this was an extreme but it was so incredibly liberating and something that I was so proud of and I learned a lot," she said. "And it was just a great experience."
"Spring Breakers" opens in theaters on March 22.
Be sure to check back here on Thursday at 7 a.m. ET for the world premiere of the first trailer from "Spring Breakers."
