Listen, we will always be game for a Tom Cruise flick, especially one where he has to act really tough and yet, talk about how he's not a hero, and in those areas, "Jack Reacher" is aces. Forget about the height thing for a second. The few previews we've seen have already provided serious discussion topics. "On second thought, I'd like to kill you" will obviously make the list of our favorite awesomely terrible lines of 2012. (Watch out, "I now consider you man and knife.")

But what we really can't get enough of is our first look at Werner Herzog as the main villain. He even has one dead eye. If you told us that there are people out there who aren't interested to see what the hell becomes of this inspired bit of casting, we'd call you a filthy liar.

The new theatrical trailer for "Jack Reacher" just debuted over at Yahoo! Movies and contains all of those special elements, plus Jai Courtney's enormous monster head.

Official Plot Synopsis:

When a gunman takes five lives with six shots, all evidence points to the suspect in custody. On interrogation, the suspect offers up a single note: "Get Jack Reacher!" So begins an extraordinary chase for the truth, pitting Jack Reacher against an unexpected enemy, with a skill for violence and a secret to keep.
