The "Silent Hill" video game series and the film adaptation have been known for their big, surreal horror images. The follow-up to that first movie, "Silent Hill: Revelation 3D," opens on October 26 in three terrifying dimensions, and from the looks of an exclusive 60-second trailer, it lives up to its very scary legacy.
"Silent Hill: Revelation 3D" tells the story of Heather Mason, a high school student, who when her father goes missing, must venture into the nightmare world that has terrorized her since she was a child.
The film stars Adelaide Clemens as Heather, with Sean Bean reprising his role as Christopher Da Silva from the original. Kit Harington from "Game of Thrones" and Radha Mitchell will also appear.
"Silent Hill: Revelation 3D" opens in theaters everywhere on October 26.
