National Hispanic Heritage Month goes on from September 15 to October 15. Today is the last day of the month long celebration (sniff, sniff) but we want ya to keep the Latino love going all year long. So we have a list of some our fave Hispanic stars who reaaaaally do good stuff. From J. Lo and her namesake foundation to Selena Gomez's work with UNICEF, these Latinos rule the radio airwaves, TV screens and films as well as giving back.

Is there anything Jenny from the block hasn't done? She's an actress, singer, former "American Idol" judge, fashion designer, and, of course, a philanthropist. J. Lo founded her own org, the Lopez Family Foundation, which is here to help women and children. The boriqua explained, "The number of children that grow up without access to quality health care, doctors, and health care facilities, is unacceptable. Our goal is to dramatically increase the availability of quality health care and health education for women and children, regardless of their ability to pay." Whether you think she's a diva or not, gotta love La Lopez!

The "Teen Wolf" star and all-around good guy is Mexican on his mother's side. Does his middle name, Garcia, give you that clue? Tyler likes to get out there and do good. He raised money to build a water well in Uganda through the Thirst Project. And Tyler shows that whether you are man or werewolf, Love is Louder. He was even part of a Love is Louder contest to get the lovin' to go around. And while we're talking about Tyler here's a fun fact for the day: He played J. Lo's son in "Maid In Manhattan." We wonder if she taught him anything 'bout giving back?!

Okay, so what doesn't Selena do that's helpful for another person? This girl (who has Mexican roots on her dad's side) lives and breathes philanthropy, and somewhere in there she finds time to sing, act and date Justin Bieber. One of Selena's biggest passion projects is her work for UNICEF, which is out there to help kinds in need around the world. A few recent examples (because if I gave a whole list we'd be here all day) of Selena's do-gooder attitude include getting involved with Vote4Stuff, taking part in the Global Citizen Festival and supporting 14-year-old activist Malala Yousafzai.

You know what they say: "Shakira makes a man want to speak Spanish." Actually, she makes us all want to speak Spanish, and she makes us all want to get involved with philanthropic efforts. The Colombian belly dancer, "The Voice" judge and expectant mami founded the Barefoot Foundation to make education accessible to kids. Remember how we were talking last week about The Day of the Girl and what a big diff education makes? Shakira's one of the activists out there really working for universal education, and you can help her by sponsoring a child.

Ricky hit it big time with his song "Livin La Vida Loca," (BTW that song is 13 years old!) but the life he leads just seems really philanthropic, not cray. After coming out the Puerto Rican singer has became a major activist for LGBT rights, but that's not the only thing he's into. You might not know that he's also started the Ricky Martin Foundation, which protects kids from human trafficking. Because it's election season, now's the perf time to talk about Rosario Dawson, the chairwoman for Voto Latino. It's a fitting org for Rosario as her mom has Afro-Puerto Rican and Afro-Cuban roots. Voto Latino is here to mobilize the Latino community and get it out and voting. The "X-Factor" judge is one of the biggest stars out there now, and she also has one of the biggest hearts. Demi's especially into body acceptance and talks about it on a regular basis. Like fellow Mexican Selena, we've got a lot of stories dedicated to her! Besides winning Best Video With A Message at the VMAs, Demi talks openly and honestly about struggling with insecurity and praises people like Jennifer Livingston who fight back against bullying.

Armando Cristian Pérez Pitbull created the Imaginate Foundation because he wanted to "provide art, business, and social teachings to children of low income migrant families." But that def. doesn't take up all his philanthropic time. The Cubano has also been a fighter for clean water because some good ole H20 can go a long way. Let's drink to that!
