Bullying has got to go, and Nick Cannon knows it. Nick just recently hooked up with the group STOMP Out Bullying to become a global ambassador for them. But in addition to his awesome new ambassador status, he's using his music to show how bad bullying is.
Last week he released the music video for his song "Die Young," which samples The Band Perry's "If I Die Young." If you haven't seen the vid yet, you've got to take a look. Yes, Nick is totally ripped in it and it's a little distracting, but the more important part is what a good anti-bullying message he has for you.

Nick does an interesting spin on the ol' "Sticks and stones can break my bones but words can never hurt me" line. The video opens showing stones with cruel words written on them, and at more than one point you see people hurling these mean rocks.
We're introduced to a few different bullied young people and told a little of their stories. Do you recognize yourself in them? Jamie's bullied for being gay. Phoebe's cyberbullied by mean girls. And where does it all end?
We really need people like Nick standing up, because we hear too many stories of bullies, too many stories of suicides that can be avoided. STOMP Out Bullying has some really astonishing numbers to share with us, like the fact that "1 out of 4 teens are bullied" and "As many as 160,000 students stay home on any given day because they're afraid of being bullied." With his new vid and his ambassador job, Nick's doing what he can to make a difference.
