Lady Gaga is a woman of many looks. On Sunday she wore yellow skin, big round eyes and a 2D body. Yup, she was on "The Simpsons."
In "Lisa Goes Gaga," the show's season finale, Lisa is crushed when her school votes her most unpopular. Who will help this young girl's self-esteem? Meantime, Lady Gaga is zipping around in her awesomely Gaga-esque train (you just kind of have to see it) and decides to stop in Springfield. Lady Gaga is most definitely voiced by herself. Last week she tweeted her excitement:
IM SOOO EXCITED FOR THE SIMPSONS. "Lisa Goes Gaga" episode. They did such an amazing job. I hope you like my voice-over acting debut! :) <3

You might think meeting Gaga would be enough to turn Lisa's frown upside-down, but Mother Monster has her work cut out for her. Gaga's heartfelt messages and be yourself attitude continues to fall on deaf ears, but don't be surprised if the 2D pop star does make a diff in Lisa's life by the end of the episode.

Of course, since "The Simpsons" got Lady Gaga to guest star, an episode wouldn't be complete without Gaga singing, changing constantly into different outfits (with Homer trying to eat her meat dress) and the credits rolling with Homer singing his own variant of "Poker Face." And we all saw Maggie as Baby Goo-Goo, our future famous pop star.
What's especially neat, though, is even while the episode had fun with Lady Gaga's clothes and songs, the biggest part of her being in the episode was her message of self-acceptance and the fact it's okay not to fit into the mold. Whether she's talking in real life or as a cartoon, Lady Gaga always wants to help and there's no poker face about it.
