Funnyman Russell Brand would like to be serious for a moment. No, really. We all know Russell's got one great sense of humor (and we know he'll be the totally awesome host with the most at the MTV Movie Awards on June 3), but the guy can be serious.
Off in Twitterland, Russ brought this to our attention:
Little boy raps to win money for hospice that care for the baby brother he lost- vote for him heretinyurl.com/csx2sa6#helpcharliechyps

If you haven't heard of Rap for a Cause, that's probably because it's only open to residents of the UK, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man (sorry Americans!) Still, that doesn't mean you can't take a look and vote. The contest, which is going on till May 31, gives out multiple prizes, including one prize of £10,000 going to a chosen charity. To vote, all you have to do is click "Like"!
To get the prizes, the contestant has to show off their rapping skills. Russell's got his eyes on this particular wee little rapper named Charlie. If this lil rapper gets the most votes, the £10,000 prize will go to chYps, which focuses on offering full hospice care for very sick young people and kids at their home or wherever they'd like it. It's so much nicer than having to be in a hospital, away from your comfort zone.
You can check this out and the other rap videos on the site, plus all the good charity orgs that have the possibility of earning all those pounds. See, Russell's cool even when he has to be serious for a moment.
