Ashton Kutcher's Steve Jobs biopic now has a name: "jOBS."

The folks over at Five Star Feature Films decided to go with that name as a way to honor the lowercase 'i' branding that Jobs made famous with his iMacs, iPods and iPhones. The film will begin filming in June, and had been tentatively called "Jobs: Get Inspired."

"jOBS" is being directed by "Swing Vote" helmer Joshua Michael Stern. It also stars "Book of Mormon" star Josh Gad as Apple's other co-founder, Steve Wozniak. According to a press release released by Five Star, "jOBS" will follow Jobs from "his early years as an impressionable youth and wayward hippie, through his initial successes and infamous ousting, to his storybook return and ultimate triumphs as a man who set out to change the world and did just that."

This news comes only days after Sony announced that they'd hired Aaron Sorkin to write their Steve Jobs biopic. That project is being based on Walter Isaacson's official best-selling Jobs biography. "jOBS" is based on interviews conducted with the Apple co-founder's colleagues and friends.

It sounds like it will be the battle for the best Jobs biopic. Sony's film has already acquired the help of Wozniak, but Five Star's is priding itself on "the project's commitment to accuracy and authenticity." They'll be shooting scenes in Jobs' Los Altos childhood home as well as the actual garage where he and Wozniak founded Apple. It all should look great on the big screen too, as the press release announced that "Titanic's" Oscar-winning cinematographer, Russell Carpenter, will be shooting the movie.
