So maybe "Machete Kills" isn't getting the best reviews. The sequel to the movie based on a fake trailer in "Grindhouse" never promised to be high-class cinema, so we weren't exactly expecting anything different.

That being said, even if the movie isn't worth running out to theaters to see right away when it opens on October 11, the new 3-D trailer for "Machete Kills" is actually pretty cool.

We won't spoil the surprise for you, but the trailer has better 3-D effects than you might be expecting.

"Machete Kills" opens in theaters on October 11.
