Andrew Jenks is used to being in control of the camera, but now he's turning it over to a group of high school students. Tonight the "World of Jenks" star launches his high school film festival to showcase the talents of the future stars in filmmaking.

With heavy-hitters like Oscar-winning "Juno" writer Diablo Cody and "The Twilight Saga's" Kristen Stewart on the judging panel, Jenks has some pretty impressive support for his All American High School Film Festival. In a video on the site, the director shares how he went about putting the spotlight on the next generation of filmmakers.

The festival will showcase the 84 "must-see" films from high school students. Not only do the filmmakers have the chance to premiere their work in front of some big names in the industry, but they also have the chance to win some brag-worthy prizes. The entrants behind best comedy will receive tickets to "Saturday Night Live," and the best PSA will debut on MTV Act!

If you can make it to New York City for the festival, you're in for a treat. The new "Romeo & Juliet" adaptation from Carlo Carlei, starring Oscar-nominee Hailee Steinfeld and Douglas Booth, will make its world premiere when it opens the festival.

If you're wondering about the quality of work the students put together, Jenks can reassure you. After screening the 84 entries, he told PR Newswire that there's no doubt that the "future of filmmaking is bright."
