There's a lot of hype surrounding "Gravity," the George Clooney and Sandra Bullock movie that opens tomorrow. Before we go see it, let's take a look at the amazing work George and Sandra are doing right here on Earth!

+ George Clooney Is A United Nations Messenger Of Peace

Has George Clooney ever not been a silver fox? I'm pretty sure he was born and will forever stay a handsome 50-something year old. Clooney became a United Nations Messenger of Peace back in '08. He has focused his efforts specifically on Darfur, using his fame to shine a light on violence in the western Sudanese region. In 2007, Clooney and several of his famous friends co-founded "Not On Our Watch," an organization dedicated to using its members' notoriety  to bring global attention to human rights violations happening around the world.

+ Sandra Bullock Wins The People's Choice Humanitarian Award

Sandra Bullock recently one the first ever People's Choice Humanitarian Award. After Hurricane Katrina, Sandra made it her goal to rebuild New Orleans' Warren Easton Charter High School, which faced $4million worth of damage. The school had a 100% graduation rate, and the last thing Bullock wanted was for its students' educations to be negatively impacted by the storm. "That little clip that you saw does not even begin to scrape the surface of the amazing volunteers and humanitarians that I've come to love in New Orleans," Sandra said during her award acceptance speech. "And I'm not at all being modest when I say I don't do anything compared to what they do on a daily basis. I am simply blessed to be able to do what I do because of what you allow me to do, and that is write a check and be a really good cheerleader and that's it." Talk about modesty!
