Schmidt and Jenko just had their first day of higher education. The undercover duo is heading to college in the sequel to last years' hit comedy, cleverly titled "22 Jump Street," and production just started over the weekend, with a June 2014 release date on the books.
We spoke with the directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller, and they were able to escape the minor move up jump street. "[The undercover program] moves across the street," Lord said. "They got more money for the Jump Street program, and they could have an even cooler office with flat screens. It's a different abandoned church, across the street from the first abandoned church, but way nicer."
