Human trafficking is a serious situation that affects millions of people, and it's happening right in our backyards. That's why "Twilight Saga" star Kellan Lutz is involved with Saving Innocence, an org that rescues kids from sex trafficking.

Kim Biddle, who's with Kellan in his picture, is the Founder and Executive Director of Saving Innocence. She's been working against human trafficking for 10 years, starting with a trip to Thailand and Cambodia. And while it's easy to say, "Human trafficking only goes on elsewhere," that just isn't true. People of all ages, sexes and ethnicities are trafficked, and it happens across the globe. Saving Innocence concentrates on young people, saying its vision is to "end the commercial sexual exploitation of children and restore the cultural values of innocence and human worth."
Saving Innocence has a 24-hour emergency crisis response, spreads awareness about human trafficking in schools and works to get survivors more resources, among other things. If you want to join Kellan in getting involved, you have different options, like donating money or volunteering. The org also has a list up of supplies it could always use more of: "Sweatpants, t-shirts, sweatshirts, socks, blankets, underwear, bras, and hygiene supplies (tampons, toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, deodorant, hair brush, and hair ties)." Many survivors have very few clothes and supplies when they're rescued, so if you've got old clothes, you can donate them to the org at PO Box 93037, Los Angeles, CA 90093. Kellan talks about a big gala in December, but you don't have to wait till then to lend a hand!
