The media may be all up in Katy's personal life, but the 28-year-old superstar prefers to "Roar" about something else: the children of Madagascar. Katy recently took a trip to the African island with UNICEF, where one out of two kids are malnourished, and three out of four live in poverty. "In less than one week here in Madagascar, I went from crowded city slums to the most remote villages and my eyes were opened wide by the incredible need for a healthy life -- nutrition, sanitation, and protection against rape and abuse -- which UNICEF is stepping in to help provide," she Tweeted.

Both Katy and Gaga are unapologetic about being "Born This Way," and want their fans to feel the same. Gaga launched the Body Revolution campaign to share her struggles with her body, and help her "Little Monsters" celebrate their own. "Be brave and celebrate your perceived flaws," she wrote in an intro to the site. "May we make our flaws famous."
