Jordin Sparks' beautiful singing can bring many people to tears, but a viral video about the importance of clean water got the singer to tear up herself.

Her video introduces us to four-year-old Nkaitole, an adorable little boy who lives in Kenya. Nkaitole is vivacious and lively, but the truth is there's a one in five chance he won't be able to celebrate his fifth birthday. That's because, like many kids, he is exposed to unsafe drinking water. Unsafe drinking water is one of the leading causes of death for young children.
The video shows Nkaitole complete his bucket list, just in case he doesn't make it to five. He gets to do all sorts of fun things, like ride in a hot air balloon, get his first kiss and see the ocean. He's cheerful throughout the video, but knowing the possible future he's facing got Jordin in tears.
When we get drinking water from the tap, jump in the shower or do laundry, we typically don't think about how lucky we are to have clean water. But each day 884 million people don't have the same access to clean water that we do. This leads to diseases like diarrhea, which kills 4,100 children four and under every day.
The facts are enough to get anyone as upset as Jordin was by the video, but there are ways to help. You can donate to WATERisLIFE, the group that made this vid, because they're dedicated to supplying clean water to the places that need it. If you can't donate, you can share this video to spread awareness, just like Jordin. Access to clean water can change the world.
