For the first time ever, the Video Music Awards are honoring the Best Song of the Summer!  Check out the nominees, and vote by using the hashtags below on Twitter, Instagram and Vine.

Studies show that teens and young adults "Get Lucky" five times more often during summer months than they do during winter ones. And, by "studies," I mean those I have conducted on myself. Always get tested before you get lucky, and don't forget to use protection! Although it's warm out, one part of your body should always be wearing a sweater, ifyaknowwhatimean.

"Blurred Lines" are everywhere this summer, but there's one place they don't belong: on the road. Assign a designated driver for that epic end-of-the-summer rager, or -- if everyone's planning on hitting the punch bowl -- split a cab. It's really not that expensive, and totally worth everyone getting to and from the party safely.

"We Can't Stop" obsessing over Miley's new song, but sometimes the summer gives us a little too much time to obsess over less positive things.
