The 2013 Billboard Latin Music Awards are goin' down tonight in none other than Miami, Florida, and stars like Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull, and Enrique Iglesias are sure to set the red carpet en fuego! Shaki and J.Lo are two of the four ladies nominated for Female Song Artist of the Year, and it's pretty obvious why. Both are phenomenal performers, loving mothers, and devoted philanthropists who never, ever seem to age.

+ Shakira Goes Barefoot

From lending her voice to Pitbull's "Get It Started," to coaching on "The Voice," it's been a busy year for Shakira. Although work, family, and keeping her tresses so perfectly blonde must be exhausting, the Colombian songstress always finds time to give back. Her Barefoot Foundation provides meals, education, and psychological support to thousands of students in Columbia, Haiti, and South Africa. The foundation recognizes that education starts at home, and that children learn best when they are nurtured and well-fed.

+ J.Lo Shares Telemedicine with the World

This month J.Lo's up for a Billboard Music Award, but last month, she was the recipient of  GlobalMed's Humanitarian Award for her work with the Lopez Family Foundation. Her foundation uses telemedicine to bring healthcare to women and children around the world. So WTF is telemedicine?! Well, basically, just like some people use technology to send scandalous pics and videos to your significant other, doctors around the world can use it to diagnose and treat patients in developing nations. Pretty cool, huh?
