February is African American History Month, sometimes called Black History Month, and former "TRL" star La La is feeling inspired about this. Taking to Twitter, she shared what Black History means to her.
La La Tweeted:
What black history means to me: bit.ly/LAhistory24 #proud

If you follow La La's link, it'll take you over to a blog post where she shares some poetry by Langston Hughes:
She goes on to talk about how hopes and dreams have "produced so many great black actors, artists, athletes, musicians, politicians, and intellectuals. It's also dreams that got us through times of great struggle."
La La is a big dreamer, and she's making sure her little boy Kiyan is, too. And La La's hubs is none other than Carmelo Anthony of the New York Knicks. Ya know, sports superstar and currently on the NBA All-Star roster!? "Black history is rich and diverse, and I'm proud to be a part of it!" La La continues in her blog.
Then she turns it over to the reader, asking, "What does black history mean to you?" So let us and La La know....Tweet it out or share in the comments section and remember to celebrate this beautiful month! It's not just all about roses from really cute boys, ya know!
