Move over, Christmas! Get lost, birthdays! There's a new holiday in town, and it can't be beat! Tomorrow is National Girl Scout Cookie Day -- a day to celebrate the world's largest girl-led business by stuffing our faces with Thin Mints, Do-si-dos, and Caramel deLites (Also known as Samoas. These cookies change their names more often than Diddy does!)
BTW, the Girls Scouts is not affiliated with the Boy Scouts and allows LGBT members and leaders. Which is prolly why celebs like Ryan Gosling have been outspoken about their love of Girl Scout cookies! And did you know that many of your faves were actual Girl Scouts? From Dakota Fanning to Hillary Clinton, here are a few celeb cookie slingers and what kind of badges we think they once ironed to their green sashes:
+ Mariah Carey & The Social Butterfly Badge
Mariah Carey's butterfly obsession is no secret, so if there was any badge she had her eye on while she was a Girl Scout, it was probably the Social Butterfly badge. Or maybe she named her sixth studio album Butterfly just to spite the scout leader who wouldn't award her the badge! Selling millions of albums would be the perfect revenge...if Girl Scouts were vengeful, that is!
+ Hillary Clinton & Public Policy Badge
It's hard to imagine pantsuit Hillary in a Girl Scout's outfit, but I'm sure Bill Clinton tries. While a Scout, Hillary probably had no trouble getting her Public Policy badge but if only more Democrats and Republicans had the Finding Common Ground badge. BTW, as a former New York senator, Hillz was once part of this awesome fact: 70% of the women now serving as US Senators are Girl Scouts alumnae!
+ Dakota Fanning & Digital Photographer Badge
If Instagram counts, then Dakota Fanning totally deserves a Digital Photographer badge. If Instagram doesn't count, then I say get with the times, Girl Scout officials! And while Dakota plays a BFF-in-distress in her Sundance hit film, "Very Good Girls" we're glad she was actually a legit good girl back in the day!
+ Karlie Kloss & Eating For Beauty Badge
Rumor has it supermodel Karlie Kloss looks at her Eating For Beauty badge every time she craves junk food. Seriously though, being a Girl Scout and selling cookies must've impacted Karlie as she has her own cookie line, Karlie's Kookies, and proceeds go to FEED, an org which provides nutritious meals to those in need.
+ Lauren Bush & Social Innovator Badge
And while we're on the subject of FEED, seven years ago, Lauren Bush -- George W. Bush's niece -- created it (meaning FEED, duh) and a ton of cool products to raise money and awareness for the United Nations World Food Programme. A portion of each sale goes towards feeding children around the world. To date, FEED has donated over 6 million dollars AND 60 million meals! Lauren totally deserves the Social Innovator badge for creating a hip way to give back.
+ Taylor Swift & Netiquette Badge
Internet etiquette is Tay Tay's forte. Although she's got plenty to say in her songs, she never Tweets nasty things about her exes, or anyone for that matter (ahem, KANYE). Thus she deserves the Netiquette badge. Girl Scouts or not, we should all practice proper netiquette and keep it classy!
+ Ryan Gosling = Honorary Girl Scout
During a recent appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," Ryan admitted that he once bought hundreds of boxes of Girl Scout Cookies and handed them out to strangers from his car. "I was walking out of Ralphs one day and these kids were trying to sell their cookies," he said. "And I was like, 'I'll take 'em all!' I bought hundreds and hundreds of boxes. I didn't realize how many boxes I was going to have. I had a car full of them and I didn't know what to do, so I started throwing the out the window to people on the street." There's gotta be an honorary badge for that!

Now go forth and celebrate the best holiday of the year, while supporting an organization that teaches girls important life skills like money management, public speaking, and how to somehow, magically make green and brown look good together! If enough of us forfeit our birthdays, can we get a second National Girl Scout Cookie Day?!
