Edgar Wright fans, pay attention. Today we learned three very important things about his upcoming project, "The World's End," and you're going to want to know about them.

Deadline broke the great news that Wright's final installment of his Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy has been greenlit by Universal Pictures. The website also released a teaser poster for the movie and the news that "The World's End" actually won't be about the end of the world.

That's news to us, who were sort of hoping this would be a follow-up to "Shaun of the Dead." While this movie will still likely be a satisfying and relevant finale to Wright's trilogy of comedies, it won't be related to the undead or the apocalypse. Instead, it will follow five friends trying to go on the most epic bar crawl of their life to ultimately reach the pub called The World's End.

"The World's End" will begin shooting in October in the UK, and Wright has long said that he will be doing this project before he ever begins production on "Ant-Man." That being said, there is still time for him to make that announcement during Marvel's "Iron Man 3" panel tomorrow.

Here's the official synopsis of "The World's End," courtesy of Deadline.

"The film starts 20 years after five childhood friends attempted an epic pub crawl. The friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World's End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind's. Reaching The World's End is the least of their worries."
