Smile! You can help The Trevor Project out, and all you need to do is take a picture of yourself and upload it!
The Trevor Project, which gives crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to young LGBTQ peeps, has a fun -- and super easy -- new campaign going on to raise money. The life-saving org hopes to raise $50 thousand dollars this month through their Picture Mosaic!
To participate, all you have to do is upload your pic and Esurance will donate five bucks to The Trevor Project -- it's that easy! It will go on until August 1 or until they've raised the $50 thousand they're hoping for. And for all you people with big hearts out there, I'm sorry to say you can only submit one photo per person. I know, I know, we were hoping to upload our whole Instagram library, too!
But you can help get a major number of photos by spreading the word through places like Facebook and Twitter. Oh, and there are old fashioned ways like just spreading the word in person. If you send in a picture, not only will you be helping The Trevor Project out financially (and without having to open your own wallet), but your face will be an inspiration to youth all over the world. It's definitely something worth smiling about, if you know what I mean.
