Want to do something this summer? I mean, besides enjoying your vacay, sleeping in late and going to the pool. Do Something wants you to get philanthropic this summer, and Nicole Richie is teaming up with them.

Nicole rolled up her sleeves (OK, she had a t-shirt on) and joined a group of teenagers to help restore a mosaic wall at a playground in Manhattan. And she wasn't alone! Nicole volunteered with "Dancing With the Stars" alum Maria Menounos, model Karlie Kloss, "Twilight's" Chaske Spencer and "High School Musical" actor Corbin Bleu.

Nicole and her fellow volunteers are involved with "The Bing Summer of Doing." Or you could think of it as "The Big Summer of Doing." Each day the site is going to be giving you a new word to search that has to do with making the world a better place. Some of the words (like "giving") are pretty obvious, but others (like, maybe, "upcycling") might be new to you. You click on the special daily word to see what kind of good deed you can make.

To top it off, there are also weekly prizes! This week you can enter for a chance to win $4,500 for your "dream charity," and two winners will be chosen. So what are ya waiting for? Do something, y'all!  You just might be volunteering alongside your fave celeb.
