Emma Stone's Boys & Girls Clubbing. Justin Bieber's school-building. Channing Tatum's tree-hugging. Lady Gaga's sweet-tweeting. One Direction's cooking. A slew of stars have been up to serious good lately and now it's time to vote for our faves -- the 2012 Do Something Award nominations are out and the polls are open!

DoSomething.org and VH1 have pulled together an impressive parade of charitable celebs who will rock the blue carpet this year, so prepare yoselves for some tough decisions. Each category is straight stacked. I mean how can I possibly choose between dynamic duos like Jay & Bey and Biebz & Gomez for most philanthropic power Couple?! How the ballz am I supposed to decide if Adam Lambert's out-and-proud advocacy tops Taylor Swift's tenderhearted work for at-risk children and communities as fellow Music Artist nominees? Holy crap, I need one of those Magic 8 Balls STAT.

At least some of these categories are a no brainer. Clearly, our minds are made up when it comes to Reality TV since Act HQ is a hot-bed of Savage U stans fo' life. And I am openly biased on the Female TV Star front because Victoria Justice is my homegurl. The "Victorious" leading lady was super well-spoken and fun when we chatted about her campaign to save teens from deadly driving choices like texting and speeding.

But even with all that pro-social star power, the coolest part of the whole show has to be The Do Something Award, which honors young people making a positive impact on our world. One special do-er will receive a life-changing $100,000 grant for their chosen cause (they've already won $10,000 for making it this far!) and the 2012 nominees are especially worthy:  Manyang Reath Kher for Humanity Helping Sudan, Meg Bourne for Art Feeds, Danny Mendoza for Together We Rise, Katia Gomez for Educate2Envision, and Seth Maxwell for The Thirst Project. The show airs Tuesday August 21 on VH1 and will be hosted by the hilarious triple-threat bromance from Fox's hit series "New Girl" -- Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield and Lamorne Morris. And the Do Something Awards may be about saving the world, but that only means the on-stage hijinks are even more heart-warming. Last year, Amy Poehler swapped spit with Will Ferrell, Demi Lovato gave an emotional performance of her self-empowerment ballad "Skyscraper," and host Jane Lynch was hysterical.
