On this week's episode of "Oprah's Next Chapter," the big O and 50 Cent finally squashed their beef. In the candid one-on-one interview, they discussed 50's tough childhood and his pledge to feed 1 billion people through the sales of his Street King energy drink.

Oprah has continuously denounced the view of women in hip-hop culture and the use of the N-word, which at one point instigated a beef between the talk show titan and the rapper. During the interview, 50 explained that he saw O's stance as an attack on him personally. "I would see moments where you would discuss your feelings on the culture, and everything that was wrong with the culture was on my CD," 50 said. "And I was like, 'She doesn't like me.'"

At the time, 50 responded to Oprah's stance by saying she caters to middle-aged white women and doesn't understand hip-hop culture. He even went as far as to name his pet dog after the talk show host, which Oprah confronted him about during the interview. "I heard you had a bitch named Oprah, that's what I heard," Winfrey said.

But the sit-down revealed a different side of the MC, which took Oprah aback. 50 Cent talked about the difference between his rap persona and Curtis Jackson. "I've always had to be two people," he said. "I've had to be my grandmother's baby in the house and be more like what people perceive 50 Cent as outside. I'm not even allowed to curse around her."

Ultimately, that and 50's commitment to charity were enough for the two to work past their former feud.

But this isn't the only settled beef Oprah's had on her hands. Over the years, she's compiled an impressive list of celebrity feuds turned friendships.

David Letterman

These two had a 16 year feud, which according to Letterman started over a joke about paying a bill in a restaurant. (He and his girlfriend tricked a waiter into thinking Oprah would pick up their bill.) Their feud ended in 2005 when O appeared on his late night talk show in what Letterman called "the Super Bowl of Love."

Jonathan Franzen

Back in 2001, Oprah and the noted author had a feud involving her book club. Franzen had made some unkind remarks about the club after Oprah named his novel, "The Corrections," as her latest selection. In turn, Oprah took back Franzen's invitation to appear on her show. But exactly 14 years after her first announcement of her first book club pick, Oprah announced Franzen's 2010 novel "Freedom" would be be her next book club selection. Franzen appeared on her show, and the two hashed out their beef.

James Frey

One of the Oprah show's most memorable guests, James Frey, had a long-standing feud with the Queen of All Media. Frey duped Oprah as well as thousands of readers with his novel "A Million Little Pieces," which was chosen for her book club (guaranteeing massive sales), by claiming the book was an autobiography about addiction. It was then made public that the "autobiography" was largely fictional. Years later, in 2011, Oprah invited Frey onto her show and thoroughly discussed the controversy. The interview turned out to be a sort of mea culpa for Frey and Oprah even apologized for how she publicly handled the controversy.

Whoopi Goldberg

This rather low-key feud between Whoopi Goldberg and Oprah came to an end in 2010 during a "Color Purple" reunion on O's talk show. The two sat down and discussed their issues, which were mostly born out of confusion. "So I thought, you think I'm mad at you?" Oprah said, "I thought you were mad at me." That tiny hatchet as been buried ever since.
