A belated birthday shout out is in order for "Transformers" hottie Shia LaBeouf! This past Monday the talented actor turned 26! Seems like just yesterday we were watching him on Disney Channel's "Even Stevens"... Oh, where has time gone?!

What is even more rad than this past Monday being Shia's birthday, he spent the day before his birthday with low-income youth in LA. While visiting with the kids Shia snapped some photos, which he tweeted out through The Campaign Book Twitter account.

The Campaign Book is his personal independent publishing company where he produces graphic novels and any other creative idea that comes to mind. According to E! Online, his volunteer experience was documented for said publishing company! Shia tweeted his admiration, "The kid with the hat (Adriano) lives under some stairs with his sister and 3 brothers and is super joyful -- living in some of the worst poverty I've ever seen."

So that's what he's been up to! Good for him. Poverty in America is such a massive problem, so we hope to see Shia convey this into his future graphic novels! We can't wait to see what is next.
