Yup, the former Boston gangbanger and low-ridin' rapper turned underwear model who eventually became one of Hollywood's most respected actors has decided to add one more notch to his belt of badassery: Mark Wahlberg is heading back to high school!

But don't go redecorating your locker because Marky Mark won't spy that shirtless pic with the hearts all over it. Unforch, homeboy isn't heading to a homeroom near you. Instead the funky hunk, who dropped out in 9th grade, is taking his courses online -- that way he can squeeze in a pop quiz on set from the comfort of his tricked-out trailer.

I know, major bummer jam. But seriously, how would you ever concentrate in geometry class with those pecs within a 5-mile radius? And who wants to compete with Mr. Wahlberg for the lead role in "Oklahoma?"

Besides the back-to-school jitters, Mark has to be stoked that his new flick "Ted" is coming out on June 29th. Written by "Family Guy" creator Seth McFarlane and co-starring a trash-talkin', boozy teddy bear and the always awesome Mila Kunis, you know this movie is gonna be totally twisted in the best way possible.

So while Mark is making the grade, we'll be laughing our butts off at the onscreen antics of his foul-mouthed furry friend.
