"Raise Your Glass" singer P!nk has been all about "Playground," according to her Twitter feed. And no, I don't mean she played on a playground (though she probably does with her little girl, Willow).

P!nk supported a film called "Playground" that has a playful name but is about a very serious issue -- the commercial sexual exploitation of children in America. P!nk tweeted:

The Kickstarter project is a completed movie that's looking to earn the money to make it available to audiences. Sex trafficking occurs when a child is involved in the commercial sex trade, and when adults are coerced or forced into the commercial sex trade under the control of a pimp. It's a reality most of us don't even want to think about, and we especially don't want to think about sex trafficking involving children. But it happens, and P!nk wants to bring awareness to it and help end this major problem.

mtvU's Against Our Will helps college students organize in the fight against human trafficking.  One of the campaign's partners, GEMS (Girls Educational and Mentoring Services), is dedicated to helping girls 12-24 who have have experienced commercial sexual exploitation. While many think that human trafficking and sex trafficking happen in other countries, the truth is that it is a global epidemic and definitely happens right in our own backyards. That's why P!nk, and mtvU and GEMS, are putting their foot down and saying things have got to change.
