It's back-to-school time, and students everywhere are getting back into the groove of things with new teachers and classes. In honor of all the big stuff going on right now, Common is giving all the educators a grateful shoutout on Twitter.

His whole message reads, "I'm wishing all the educators of the world a happy new school year. You are the gate keepers of the future." Nuff said!
Great teachers can make a big diff in young people's lives, and Common can be something of an educator himself. He's all about the importance of reading, and has Tweeted about North Paran, which donates a book every time it sells a book. He's also helped raise money for 826 LA, which helps students with their writing skills. On top of that, he's the founder of the Common Ground Foundation, an org that uses education and the arts to broaden the horizons for young people and help them go far in life. Teach, Common!
While it's important to point out the great teachers out there who give it their all to help students, it's also important to point out all the hard work YOU, the students, do to further your education. And don't forget you can always check out Get Schooled for help with different matters, like paying for college or even playing educational games. We all want you to have a good school year, and Common can "Testify" about the importance of education!
