Ke$ha is known for her loud personality and catchy party anthems, but a recent chat with the 26-year-old superstar revealed her softer, dolphin lovin' side. Oh, and she has a beard fetish. NBD.

Ke$ha's all about Academy Award-winning documentary,"The Cove." The film exposes Japan's controversial dolphin hunting industry, which is wiping out entire dolphin populations using pretty brutal fishing techniques. "That movie did open my eyes to animal rights in a whole new way," says Ke$ha. She was so moved by it that she became Humane Society International's first global ambassador for animals. "I love my work with them and it means so much to me because I feel like, not only am I gaining information for myself, but I'm also showing young people things that they might not know otherwise," she says.

If you wanna get with Ke$ha, you've gotta love all things warm and fuzzy, including animals and big ol' hipster beards.
