"Thor" star Tom Hiddleston is teaching Cookie Monster (yes, Cookie Monster) a very important life lesson about what else? COOKIES!!!In a super cute new video released by PBS, the actor expresses the importance of self-control to the cookie obsessed monster. The clip begins as Cookie Monster smells the cookies and heads on over to try and sneak a few from Tom.

The "Sesame Street" character tells Tom, "Me happen to smell something."  Tom then does his best to explain to the Cookie Monster on the importance of being patient. Obviously, this is a struggle for the sweet-obsessed Cookie Monster.

After a bit of time goes by, Tom then hands out a full plate of cookies and says, "didn't it taste better for waiting?" Cookie Monster then begins to go to town on the cookies, as you might expect him to do.

Tom has also been using his Twitter presence to help others.  He recently Tweeted:
