If there's one track on Alicia Keys' most recent album that describes the singer's career track these days, it's "Girl on Fire." The singer has many titles - mother, musician, activist - and now she can add one more to the list: MAKER.

This week Keys filmed a video for MAKERS, a site which profiles the women who have helped make America the country it is today.

Because MAKERS is dedicated to telling the stories of trailblazers in different fields, Keys is joining a prestigious group of females to have their names attached to the "maker" title. Hillary Clinton, Ellen DeGeneres, Oprah Winfrey, Marissa Mayer, and Nancy Lublin have all filmed videos for the digital platform. After filming, the singer excitedly took to Twitter to inspire her followers, asking them to share the names and stories of the incredible women in their lives.

Although we'll have to wait to see what Keys talks about in her video, we're keeping her fingers crossed to hear more about the singer's work as an awe-inspiring activist. The singer, who works with Keep a Child Alive as a Global Ambassador, has dedicated years to helping the nonprofit organization provide life-saving HIV treatment and care to those affected by the illness around the world.
