Fans of Tyler Posey know a lot about the "Teen Wolf" actor, but did you know fighting cancer is an important form of activism for him, and he has very personal reasons for wanting to be part of this fight?

Tyler is going to be walking for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and he says about the org, "I am one of those people who need to absolutely appreciate and respect something in order to fully commit to it. When I was introduced to LLS I very quickly knew I'd found my cause."

The actor knows that LLS does good work, and the fact it works against cancer really hits home for him. "My aunt passed away a couple years ago and my mother is a three-year survivor," he reveals. "Cancer is something that has affected my life and my loved ones. Supporting a charity like LLS that deals with actively preventing cancer couldn't mean more to me and my family."

Thousands of people are going to be walking at the Greater Los Angeles Light The Night Walk on October 5 to raise money. Tyler will be there....and maybe you, too?
