Anyone else feeling like "WHERE DID SUMMER GO"? As we say goodbye to summer, lets reflect on some celebs who embraced their inner athlete this summer. From swim lessons with Paul Wesley, to basketball with Josh Hutcherson, we saw so many of our faves get their sport on. Take a look below out the 7 celebs we caught out and about.
+ Jonas Brothers - Soccer Studs:
The JoBro's hit the soccer field this month to raise money for their Change for the Children Foundation. Their foundation focuses on empowering others through various charities. Nick has selected finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes, Joe is all about the Special Olympics, and Kevin emphasizes the importance of volunteerism. Oh, and Nick clearly has the David Beckham soccer bod going on.
+ Josh Hutcherson - Basketball pro:
Where do we begin with Josh? Ever since the launch of his foundation "Straight But Not Narrow", we have been in awe of his passion to stand up as a LGBT allie. This past July, Josh hooped it up at his annual charity basketball event that benefited SBNN! In an interview Josh told us about the future of SBNN, "We'd love to go out to schools across the country to talk with GSAs to hear their stories and help raise their popularity amongst teens. Also going to schools to help start GSAs as well would be great. On top of that just overall reaching out to more people to spread the word about the importance of being a straight ally."
+ AnnaLynne McCord - Skydiving babe:
Skydiving is one thing that freaks me WAY out, but if it was for the Somaly Mam Foundation I would consider. AnnaLynne jumped outta a plane, all to fight human trafficking. Yep, the actress alongside many others, jumped 18,000 feet for the annual 18for18 Campaign! AnnaLynne spoke to us about it saying, "We're fighting for young girls who are subjected to the most dangerous situations, and they somehow survive."
+ Paul Wesley - Swim Trainer:
Vampire Diaries actor, Paul Wesley, took some time this summer to give back to the kids! After taking some scuba lessons to prep for a scene on his mega popular show, he then decided to pass on his knowledge. Paul helped launch Swatch's Scuba Libre Days, which is all about swimming education. Water safety skills are super important.
+ Alyssa Milano and Ashanti: All-Star Softball Gals:
These two powerful ladies put on their baseball caps to help honor our vets! Prior to the first pitch, 30 veterans were honored for for their brave and courageous service. The event payed tribute to veterans by teaming up with the Tribute for Heroes campaign! Good for Alyssa and Ashanti to get involved with such a great cause. #LovesIt
