Following the verdict of the Zimmerman trial, the fierce and fabulous Jennifer Hudson took to Instagram to share her thoughts.

JHud joins the list of many celebs like Snoop Lion to T.I., who have spoke out this year in regards to gun education and control. Jennifer's Instagram photo read, "It's time to turn all of that into this !!!! LOVE ......" This photo speaks volumes as Jennifer has lost her mother, brother and nephew to senseless gun violence.

New York Times writer, Nicholas Kristof recently wrote, "In all countries there are confrontations, even fights, like the one in question here (Zimmerman Trial). But in the US, someone is more likely to pack a gun -- so these incidents lead not to bruises but to funerals." There's clearly an issue in America regarding guns, and when celebs like JHud use their platform for good, it helps to raise awareness on this issue. And like Jennifer revealed, embracing love over violence will lead us on a much brighter path.
