We are just days away from the start of San Diego Comic-Con, and we can already feel the geeky awesomeness descending upon us. In the lead up the fan event of the year, MTV Movies Blog has a very special exclusive from one of this year's participants, "I, Frankenstein," starring Aaron Eckhart.

This poster, featuring Eckhart as Frankenstein's legendary creation, is one of three premiering today. You can see the other two by heading over /Film and Comic Book Resources.

"I, Frankenstein" will take the stage in Hall H during the Lionsgate panel on Saturday at 1:35 p.m. PT. If you're headed to San Diego, you can also stop by a signing featuring Eckhart, Yvonne Strahovski, and filmmakers Stuart Beattie and Kevin Grevioux at 3:30 p.m. PT on Friday at booth #4035.

Plot synopsis:

Set in a dystopic present where vigilant gargoyles and ferocious demons rage in a battle for ultimate power, Victor Frankenstein's creation Adam (Aaron Eckhart) finds himself caught in the middle as both sides race to discover the secret to his immortality. From the co-writer of the hit supernatural saga, UNDERWORLD, comes the action thriller I, FRANKENSTEIN, written for the screen and directed by Stuart Beattie based on the graphic novel "I, Frankenstein" by Kevin Grevioux, and brought to life by a cast that includes Aaron Eckhart, Bill Nighy, Yvonne Strahovski, Miranda Otto, Jai Courtney, Socratis Otto, Mahesh Jadu, Caitlin Stasey and Aden Young as Victor Frankenstein.

"I, Frankenstein" opens in theaters on January 24, 2014.
