Things got cray on "Jersey Shore," but dealing with anxiety is a serious issue. Vinny Guadagnino knows that anxiety can really suck, and he spoke to Joy Behar about his self-help book, "Control the Crazy: My Plan to Stop Stressing, Avoid Drama, and Maintain Inner Cool."
First Joy Tweeted about the interview, and then Vinny Tweeted back:

Vinny's book originally came out in hardcover last year, and he's excited about the paperback release. Talking on "Joy Behar: Say Anything!" he admitted that being on "Jersey Shore" (which meant cameras on him 24/7) caused his anxieties levels to go up and made him feel closed in.
"I want to be healthy first," Vinny said about keeping his emotional health as a priority. So he left the Jersey Shore house to take care of himself and now helps others by talking about anxiety disorders and health. Aww, we love seeing philanthropists in the MTV fam!
If you know the kind of anxiety Vinny's talking about, you're far from alone. Half of Us is here to help people with different issues, including ones dealing with emotional health. And did you know that 18% of Americans are affected by different anxiety disorders? If you think you might be experiencing high levels of anxiety, you can always talk to your doctor and see what he or she has to say. Whether you're a guido or not, Vinny shows you that you can control the crazy -- and that it's waaay better to be stress-free.
