After Kanye West, Alicia Keys and The Rolling Stones brought down the house at New York's 12/12/12 Concert for Sandy relief, many of us shifted our focus to newer tragedies, like, Instagram's Terms of Use. We figured the $50 million raised at 12/12/12 would be delivered to the hundreds of thousands of Sandy victims across New York, that all would be OK. But after recently heading down to Staten Island with UGG Australia to deliver boots to families who lost everything, I noticed that most were still in need of help. So if you've got time and want to do some good, below are five things Sandy victims could use.

+ A Helping Hand
Though many residents have had to abandon their houses, some are still trying to make them livable. If you're in the New York area, there's a live stream of communities that need physical help (cleaning, gutting, etc). Check out Occupy Sandy Recovery for volunteer opps.

+ School Supplies
One organization in Chicago recently sent boxes full of school supplies to students who were relocated after the disaster. Small things like pencils, erasers, notebooks, and pens are still in need from Staten Island to the Rockaways. Check out DonorsChoose's Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund for which supplies to donate to specific schools. You can also make a monetary donation to schools.

+ Moldex
With the wet weather persisting, many families are worried about mold growth affecting their children. Dozens of volunteers are still accepting donations of respirators and items like Moldex which help shield victims from the effects of mold. Info on where to send is right here.

+ Non-Perishable Food
Food is still needed throughout the winter months for families across New York. So send non-perishable items like canned soup and tuna to Virginia's House of Hope, a charitable organization which has set up outposts in Breezy Point and the Rockaways. + Adopt A Family
Thanks to the good people behind Family-to-Family you can give donations, send notes of support and more when you "adopt" a specific family affected by Superstorm Sandy.
