Justin Lin's "Fast Five" really changed the tune of the discussion about the car racing series. Jokes about the title quickly change to incredulous talk about how much fun the damn thing was. Come on, it has Vin Diesel and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
For the follow-up, Lin has enlisted some serious action talent to add even more explosiveness to "The Fast and the Furious 6."
MTV News caught up with Gina Carano, the newest addition to the series, at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards last night to see what is in store for the crew this time around.

"I think Justin Lin really out did himself. He was so excited, so pumped on set. Sometimes on set, I felt so bad for him because he exerts so much energy into everything," Carano said. "It was like, 'Oh god, man. I think my job's tough, fighting people, and you're just behind the scenes.' He was amazing. It was a pleasure."
So what will the "Haywire" star be up to in her next big action movie? While we'd love for another fight with Michael Fassbender, it sounds like she's going to have her hands full. "I don't if I can say [anything about the stunts]. There's really some cool stuff that I haven't done before, and some stuff that opened up my eyes to what I could do. It was a crossing-over of realities for me."
"The Fast and the Furious 6" opens on May 24.
