For as long as Peter Jackson's "Hobbit" trilogy has been gestating, the production blogs have been a real gift for fans eager for another trip for Middle-earth. The always insightful, often goofy visits to the Zealand set have made the wait all the more bearable with peeks insides production.
The newest production diary from Jackson and the team in New Zealand focuses on the post-production side of things as everyone is in the mad dash to finish the film before the premiere. The schedule currently has the film wrapping completely just two days in front of the big event in Wellington.
