JWOWW loves her dogs Bella and Noel, and she wants to make sure they and other people's dogs stay safe. So if you're a dog lover (and who isn't?!), JWOWW wants you to sign a petition, which can save the lives of puppies!

Over 50,000 people have signed it, and there's a reason this is such a must-sign petition. So far 360 dogs and one cat have died seemingly from eating chicken jerky treats from China. One of those dogs was a German Shepard named Heidi. Two days after Heidi ate a Waggin' Train dog treat she died. Once Heidi's grieving owner, Rita Desollar discovered that her dog passed away from eating a snack she wanted to make sure it didn't happen to other dogs. And the petition was born.
There have also been more than 2,200 pet illnesses attributed to these treats. Scary right? Most of us don't think much about the treats we buy our pets. I mean, we assume it's safe if it's on the shelf at the store.
The petition explains that while the FDA is currently looking into this, people might still unknowingly buy these suspected treats at the store because they don't know that the treats could be very harmful. The petition, which is going to stores like Walgreens, Walmart and Kroger, says, "Please be stores that we, your loyal customers, can trust. Please protect us, your customers, our families, and our pets....Please show us we can trust you by removing these dangerous jerky treats made in China from your shelves."
Maybe JWOWW doesn't go into an explanation because all you need to know are the facts (360 deaths, 2,200 illnesses) to know that something has to be done about the treats being sold. You can sign the petition because your dog can't sign it themselves!
