Diem Brown and fellow castmates on "The Challenge" have gone through some pretty big, uh, challenges, but facing cancer has got to be Diem's biggest challenge. She was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer (for a second time!), but instead of letting it get her down, she's starring in a special video where she talks with other young women who have also been diagnosed.
"Surviving Cancer with Diem Brown" is a casual affair with five personal survivors talking about what it's like to have cancer. First the young women go around introducing themselves and what kind of cancer they were diagnosed with. (One got a puppy to help her through -- now that's some healing therapy!) After that, they start to share some of their experiences.
"I never wanted cancer to stop me," Diem shares, saying the diagnosis wasn't going to get in the way of her getting on MTV and living her life. Right now, Diem is all about fighting for patients and teaching people ways to keep themselves safe and healthy. Along with the four other young women, she's out to share her story to ensure we all take care of ourselves, think about check-ups, and inspire us to take action to stop cancer! Check it out and be inspired:
