Max Thieriot might not play someone we'd want to date in "House at the End of the Street," but he certainly is a charmer in real life.
The 23-year-old actor already won over our sister site Hollywood Crush, and they even labeled him this week's Hump Day Hottie. Even though he was flattered by the honor, Thieriot admitted that is actually more similar to his character in "House at the End of the Street" than we initially realized. He said he doesn't get too scared in horror films, but he does like to freak out those close to him. Watch out, future girlfriends!
"I don't think I scare easily but I definitely, I guess I kind of scare. I startle easily maybe. But at the same time, I kind of like films like this too because I kind of enjoy scaring people like I'm just kind of sick. I just enjoy scaring people in just everyday life," he revealed. "Watch out 'cause I might be hiding around the corner and I'm just gonna try and scare you just because I think it's funny."
Horror just might be the right industry for him then, and we're glad he got a gig as Norman Bates' older brother Dylan in A&E's "Psycho" prequel "Bates Motel." Hopefully he didn't give Jennifer Lawrence too many frights on the set of "House at the End of the Street" or, if he did, hopefully she got him back too.
"House at the End of the Street" is due in theaters on September 21, 2012.
